5) Are NOT fast food or processed foods

Remember, food truly acts as a powerful drug and can either help you or harm you with repeat consumption. Although it's okay to eat indulgent foods once in a while try to get these more often than not. Plus, try to get your kids to eat more of them... even if it's something like putting real cinnamon sticks into some hot apple cider. Every little bit can help and you can feel good about providing the right nutrition.
