A recent article from Barbara Starfield, M.D., in the Journal of the American Medical Association states that physician error, medication error and adverse events kill 225,400 Americans a year! That's third on the ranking of killers behind heart disease and cancer!

Eat healthy and avoid drugs. They can do more harm than good!

Yes, the number 9 is organic! Actually, 9 represents organic produce. Any PLU code (Price Look-Up code) for produce contains information about the produce you're buying.

PLU code on Produce Stickers:
Organic produce has a 5 digit PLU code beginning with the number 9.
Conventional produce has a 4 digit PLU code beginning with the number 4.
Genetically modified (GMO) produce has a 5 digit PLU code beginning with the number 8.
Now if you're in a grocery store and not sure if the produce you're picking up is organic or not, just look for the number 9!
